Handcrafted by Richard Hill

BEAUTIFUL SHOWCASES for your needlework. Practical and useful. The needlework collection is handcrafted by Richard Hill in Jackson, California, using reclaimed black walnut hardwood in traditional dark and light tones, North Coast redwood and oak. Several designs, sizes and hardware tones are available — Special orders are encouraged. I strive to keep each of my creations unique — Although similar in appearance, each item has its own character. A satin, hand rubbed oil finish is applied to maintain the integrity of this beautiful wood. Your needlework is press fitted into the opening on top of the box using the included insert.

Embroider's Guild of America

The mission of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.

EGA is a national, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the art of embroidery. Membership is open to anyone interested in needlework, from the beginner to the professional. Members work within local chapters or a member-at-large network to improve their skills and knowledge. Numerous opportunities are available to learn embroidery and needlework techniques, including chapter meetings, workshops, correspondence courses, certification programs, and national and regional seminars. In addition, we offer free projects, a youth program, a quarterly magazine, and national traveling exhibits.
